#1,444: With major tours by ELO co-founders Jeff Lynne and Roy Wood soon to hit not only UK shores but also "Down Home Town" in their beloved Birmingham, Yours Truly KJS and elobeatlesforever (elobf) thought that it was "Time" for our third BrumBeat Bulletin especially when considering that former Idle Race drummer Roger 'Ollie' Spencer is also out and about and Dave Scott-Morgan has just announced a quickfire local date for his Morganisation troupe to coincide with the forthcoming three night Arena Birmingham (NIA) residency by Jeff Lynne's ELO.
Roger Spencer will be calling into Wolverhampton's Grand Theatre next week (Tuesday 11th September) and a number of other Midlands venues thereafter with Brian Yeates' touring show A Black Country Night Out. More details here:

If you see Roy in person, could you please give him a piece of paper with words upon it:
ReplyDelete"Please release new music before you die. Sincerely yours, a young fan from New York."
