#1,193: Hello ... Hello ... my old friends ... It's great to see you once again! As if to underline the apparent rarity of the 12" black vinyl edition of the Jeff Lynne penned ELO single "Shine A Little Love" b/w "Jungle" (Jet/CBS SJET12144), a copy was sold earlier this week for just shy of £200. The 12" white vinyl edition of the lead single from "Discovery", which reached #6 in June 1979, is much more numerous (and easy to locate) than the black vinyl issue - a scenario usually the other way round. Regular visitors to elobeatlesforever (elobf) will know that Yours Truly KJS was fortunate enough to finally nab a copy from Denmark in October (for a significantly lower price) thus:
SJET12144: SHINE A LITTLE LOVE BLACK VINYL DELIGHT
SHINE A LITTLE LOVE: BLACK & WHITE
Until next "Time" in the ELO [and related] Universe ... KJS ... 14-Nov-2016
