I was a teenager between the ages of 13 and 14 when ELO were last at #1 in the UK so hopefully you'll excuse me if I'm ever so slightly excited about this news! "All Over The World" now joins "Discovery" [1979] and "Time" [1981] in ELO's exclusive #1 club.
Many congrats are extended to Jeff Lynne by Yours Truly KJS and elobeatlesforever (elobf) upon another amazing and well deserved achievement by the ELO maestro.

Fantastic news. Jeff must be overwhelmed by this resurgence in his ELO music. Been a fan since '78 so I'm delighted. JL is my absolute musical hero.
ReplyDeleteJeff Lynne is the most underrated musical genius of my generation. Glad he is now receiving the recognition he deserves!
