Fave ELO Songs: Tony Hadley

#1,110: Hello ... Hello ... my old friends ... It's great to see you once again! This is #4 in a series of ELOBF special posts. Yours Truly KJS got in touch with Spandau Ballet front man Tony Hadley recently thanx to a mutual friend and took the opportunity to ask the acclaimed singer if he would name his favourite ELO and Beatles songs in advance of his forthcoming trio of shows - backed by the Southbank Sinfonia - this Autumn in Birmingham, Southend and London thus:

KJS: "Tony, what would be your fave ELO track?"
Tony: "It has to be "Roll Over Beethoven" for me!"
KJS: "And what would be your top Beatles tune?"
Tony: "Always liked "Hello Goodbye" ... great song!"

Tony Hadley arrives at Birmingham Symphony Hall on Saturday 15th October to perform a selection of his favourite songs alongside the hits of Spandau Ballet. Tickets are priced from £28 each and can be purchased here

  1. Forever thankful to my former work colleague Julie Tunnicliffe for her help in getting her brother-in-law to answer both questions for me! KJS@ELOBF
