Beyond the Sea of Dreams

RIP Kelly Groucutt: Saturday 8th September 1945 to Thursday 19th February 2009

#856: Hello ... Hello ... my old friends ... It's great to see you once again! Thursday 19th February 2015 marks the sixth anniversary of the tragic death of Kelly Groucutt back in 2009. I wrote this poem a while ago in anticipation of today, not only as a mark of respect but also as a token of thanks to a really nice chap:

~ "Beyond The Sea Of Dreams" ~

Two thousand, one hundred and ninety one days,

Three hundred and thirteen weeks,

Since our beloved Kelly G went away,

Beyond the Sea of Dreams.

Six sad years have passed,

All those friends, family and fans will never forget,

Your songs, your voice, your bass,

Time will not our memory away fret.

Six years,

Two thousand, one hundred and ninety one days,

Three hundred and thirteen weeks,

We hear your music and what you still say.
