Calling America: Pugwash Stateside

#752: Hello ... Hello ... my old friends ... It's great to see you once again! Hot on the heels of the maiden US release of their much anticipated career (to date) compilation "A Rose In A Garden Of Weeds: A Preamble Through The History Of Pugwash" - via the legendary Omnivore Recordings on Tuesday 23rd September - those affable ELOBF endorsed Irish legends Pugwash are to also embark on their first US tour in October. At the moment, ten (10) gigs plus one TV appearance have been announced (see above) with more to be announced in the near future. Here's my review of "A Rose In A Garden Of Weeds: A Preamble Through The History Of Pugwash" to whet your musical appetite thus:

Review: A Rose in a Garden of Weeds (Pugwash)

Pugwash feature regularly here at ELOBF so any North American based visitors to ELO Beatles Forever are strongly recommended to snap up tickets and go see this fantastic Dublin based quartet should they venture into your proverbial neighbourhood next month. In the meantime, why not check out what Pugwash are presently up to via their excellent Facebook page thus:

ELO Beatles Forever (ELOBF) recommends Pugwash to those enlightened folks who enjoy the music of ELO/Jeff Lynne, Roy Wood, The Move, The Idle Race, The Beatles, 'Brum Beat' and related artistes.

Until next "Time" in the ELO (and related) Universe ... KJS ... 05-Sep-2014
