Roy Wood to Headline Mike Burney Benefit Show

#548: Hello ... Hello ... my old friends ... It's great to see you once again! The Birmingham Mail reported earlier this week that Roy Wood will headline a benefit show on Tuesday 9th July in aid of the former Wizzard saxophonist Mike Burney, who is presently fighting bowel cancer. The gig, which is part of the Birmingham International Jazz & Blues Festival, will take place at The Asylum in Hampton Street, Hockley with tickets priced at just £10 each. It will also be a welcome return to the live stage for Roy following his back surgery last year.

The Roy Wood Rock 'n' Roll Band will be supported on the night by the legendary Steve Gibbons Band and the fantastic King Pleasure & The Biscuit Boys (plus friends). Tickets for this attractive gig can be purchased via these links thus:
