Recommended: It's Only Rock 'n' Roll

Hello ... Hello ... my old friends ... It's great to see you once again! Yesterday evening, Yours Truly KJS nipped over to The Robin 2 in Bilston near Wolverhampton to grab a couple of tickets for this rather appetizing  forthcoming gig at said venue thus:

"It's Only Rock 'n' Roll" will be rolling into Bilston on Thursday 10th November and ELO Beatles Forever [ELOBF] shall be in attendance to witness the talents of [amongst other most notable Midlands musicians] Bev Bevan and Trevor Burton. This two hour show has arisen from the ashes of its predecessor "Brum Rocks - Live!". It's a bigger band with more content and variety and something very much to look forward to.

"We wanted to build on the success of "Brum Rocks" and take that great band into this new idea which will include some of the old songs but a lot of brand new songs that have been huge Rock 'n' Roll hits over the years. It was important that when we put the band together we had people that loved Rock 'n' Roll, and that is exactly what we got, a band that have been performing great music all over the world for nearly half a century. We gave them an opportunity to perform Chuck Berry; Elvis; Johnny Kidd; Roy Orbison and Spencer Davis songs, and they all jumped at it. And when you see the enthusiasm and fun that is happening on stage, it just washes over an audience, it's a truly wonderful thing to experience" ~ Show producer Brian Yeates

"It's Only Rock 'n' Roll" features Bev Bevan [The Move/ELO/Black Sabbath], Raymond FroggattGeoff Turton [The Rockin’ Berries/Jefferson], Trevor Burton [The Move/The Steve Gibbons Band], Hartley Cain [The Raymond Froggatt Band] and last but not least Danny King [Birmingham’s First 'Pop Star'] and is fully recommended by ELO Beatles Forever [ELOBF].

Until next "Time" in the ELO [and related] Universe ... KJS ... 04-Nov-2011
