Birmingham Broad Street Star for Bev Bevan

 #210: Hello ... Hello ... my old friends ... It's great to see you once again! With a little luck and a fair wind trailing, Yours Truly KJS will be attending the Broad Street Walk of Stars event at the Gatecrasher Club in Birmingham on Thursday 28th April for the presentation of the award to ELO and The Move founding member Bev Bevan during his latest gig at this popular second city centre night club venue. The concert will raise funds for the Birmingham Mail Charity Fund. In a recent interview, Bev (66) stated that he was "very honoured and proud to receive this star and to be following in the footsteps of some fantastic talent from Birmingham."

We are promised 'special guests' and I expect those to include Jasper Carrott, Trevor Burton and possibly Tony Iommi. Tickets are still available (at the time of writing) via this link thus:
