Review: Wondrous Stories

#117: Hello ... Hello ... my old friends ... It's great to see you once again! Some strange fellow (who could it possibly be?) has posted this review of the "Wondrous Stories" compilation CD over on

3.0 out of 5 stars Message to a new musical generation18 July 2010
This review is from: Wondrous Stories (Audio CD)
Any new compilation that attempts to open up a new generation of music fans to a genre that produced so many interesting and imaginative songwriters and artistes is to be applauded. This writer considers the works of the likes of Mike Oldfield et al to be somewhat under-rated. But a compilation that includes the song that started it all for the Electric Light Orchestra too [10538 Overture]; inspired by the Beatles' "I Am The Walrus" deserves much credit. This two disc set is well worth the investment for discerning music fans looking for their next purchase.
